Across RMH Houston:

Please join us in welcoming Larry Hanrahan as interim CEO of Ronald McDonald House Houston. He has hit the ground running in this transition by joining our daily team leadership calls and committee calls. From personal use of the House to board member, Larry has been involved with RMH Houston for several years and is a strong advocate for our organization. He is a former partner from the healthcare practice of PwC and has agreed to serve as interim until the search committee selects a permanent CEO.

Holcombe House - We currently have 15 families living in the House. Our four-phase reinstatement plan was approved by the board, and will now go to RMHC Global for final approval before beginning
Ronald McDonald House inside Children's Memorial Hermann - We remain open for family guest overnight stays, The hospital increased the parent visitor limit to two people now for each patient, which is great news for families. Sending a baby home today after recovering from time in NICU as well
Ronald McDonald House inside Texas Children's Hospital - The House has remained open for family guest overnight stays, as well as hosting families for respite, snacks, and donated meals during limited hours in the common space of the House.
Ronald McDonald Family Room MD Anderson - Our RMH Kitchen has continued to be available and stocked with RMH snacks and supplies for our families despite RMH staff not being in the building. We are grateful to MD Anderson Child Life department for ensuring families still have access by staffing our kitchen. Our overnight rooms and Family Rooms remain available for staff respite for essential healthcare workers

Annual Report 2019

Last year, we were proud to offer a home away from home providing care, compassion and hope to over 2,782 families with seriously ill children who are being treated at a Texas Medical Center institution. Our families come from near and far, from Texas to across the world. In 2019, we served people from over 12 countries world-wide. Please consider making a monthly contribution.
