By merging two contacting options, we have succeeded in developing an innovative high-current probe for highly efficient battery production. With the new development of a test plug for the ix Industrial® connector from Harting, we are happy to be able to respond to growing demands in the test field once again. Our solution-oriented approach, always focused on the best results for our customers, was once again confirmed in the latest customer satisfaction analysis. Energy-saving battery contacting of oxidised surfaces using the HSS-667 For stable, loss-free battery contacting at cell, module, and pack level, INGUN offers suitable solutions for e.g., formation, OCV and DC-IR. The high-current test probe HSS-667 was specially developed for battery contacts with non-conductive oxide layers. The focus is on the scratch mechanism integrated into INGUN’s well-established test design. This combination enables the penetration of the oxide layers to ensure lowest contact resistances. The low resistance and the resulting energy efficiency enables the operator to achieve significant cost savings in the test process.
