Dear Stuck writing your academic papers gg.gg,

1971 marked the start of INGUN's 50-year success story. For our anniversary, we are not only presenting ourselves with a refined performance profile, but also with a new website. You can look forward to more simplicity, more expertise, and more products. Furthermore, there will be a new INGUN webinar in September.

In this newsletter we will introduce the new HFS-336 series for radio frequency applications in the radio wave range; we will also shed light on the use of rotating test probes. In addition, you can learn about the new TAB button activator accessory, used to test smartphones and touch displays particularly efficiently.

Our latest freebie will brighten up any fixture customisation workshop. We have developed new, free posters that make it easier for you to configure solutions for cable applications and customising accessories.

Have you heard of hipot measurement? We explain the technical background, how it works, and which advantages you can achieve using INGUN test probes.

We hope you enjoy reading and discovering.

TECH TALK
tested for dielectric strength of the electrical voltage

What do I need to know about hipot tests?

In the so-called hipot test (high potential or high voltage test), electronic components or cables are tested for dielectric strength of the electrical voltage. Hipot tests play a special role in the automotive sector. INGUN offers specialised test probes for these tests – coaxial versions (dipole probes) which feature an outer and inner conductor meaning only one probe is needed, and standard or high current probes which are used in pairs.
