Our discussion covers crucial factors for selection, encompassing performance, cost-effectiveness, ease of programming, open communication protocols, cybersecurity, and operational characteristics. By the end, you'll be equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions when choosing the ideal Logic Solver for your Safety Instrumented System, ensuring the utmost safety for your industrial processes.
Moore Industries SPA2 Programmable Limit Alarm Trip
Moore Industries SPA2 Programmable Limit Alarm Trip is a highly versatile, fast and simple solution to your alarming needs. The SPA2 accepts signal inputs from a wide array of instruments and sensors, provides two or four independent and individually-configurable alarm relay outputs, and its analog output (-AO) option can reduce installation costs and time by providing both alarm and transmitter functions.
In many industrial processes, sharing 4-20mA signals from field transmitters can be challenging. Traditional wiring can disrupt operations when secondary systems fail. Signal isolation with a 15mm ECT-DIN isolator and converter (4-20mA) allows efficient backup system connection, preserving signal integrity. This UL-approved isolator is designed for extreme conditions, eliminating climate control needs—an ideal solution for compact and challenging locations.
THZ3 & TDZ3 Dual Input Smart HART Temperature Transmitter
Moore Industries' Dual Input Smart HART Temperature Transmitters configure quickly and easily to accept a direct signal input from a wide array of sensors and analog devices located in hazardous and non-hazardous areas. These 2-wire (loop-powered) transmitters provide an isolated and linear 4-20mA output proportional to the input. This signal is ready for direct interface with HART or non-HART based DCS, PLC and other computer-based SCADA systems.
